GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an oval • Draw 1 hprizontal line above your head. Add 1 more line 2/3 closer. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 2 more lines at the height of the head plus one line 2/3 closer. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: - to the left 1 line vertical at a distance of the width of the head plus 1 line 5/6 closer. -to the right 1 vertical line the width of the head plus 1 line 5/6 closer.

STEP 1. Draw two ovals below and draw auxiliary lines. This will be the girl's body.

STEP 5. Draw two circles in place of the pupils. Add more hair in front. Start sketching the fingers. Erase the auxiliary shapes and lines.

STEP 6. Add details on the eyes and ear. Draw pleats on the dress. Finish the arms and sleeves. Sketch the creases in the hair and the barrette.

STEP 7. Detail the drawing. Draw more hairs and folds.

STEP 8. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour girl, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.
